An animated version of Dr. Seuss’ “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” was supposed to be in theaters in November of 2017. With the release of “Red Sparrow” on the same day, the production company for the movie has decided to wait until 2018 to release the movie. If the movie has already been completed, then why does it matter when it’s released? Even if the movie isn’t completed, find another day in the year when it can be released. It can still be close to Christmas without being on a certain day in November.
The movie is an animation from the popular film starring Jim Carrey. There is no word yet as to whether he will be the voice of the Grinch in the animated version. The movie has already come out as an animated version decades ago. There really isn’t any other kind of storyline that you can get from the film that hasn’t been revealed. The Grinch doesn’t like Christmas, he sees how happy everyone is for the holiday, and he decides to join in on the fun. It’s a simple plot that doesn’t need at least three different versions. Universal does have a few different techniques that it has said will be used in the animated version, so now it’s a wait and see game as to when the movie will actually be released so that viewers can decide whether the effects are worth the time and money.
