Wilhelmina Austin Gets Re-branded As The Brown Agency

The Brown Agency is a model agency located in Central Texas. It was formerly named Wilhelmina Austin and they worked with the Wilhelmina Models network. The founder and current president of The Brown Agency is Justin Brown. They have provided jobs for the models with companies like Louis Vuitton, Dell, Toyota, and L’oreal. They currently manage the careers of over 450 models and actors. Their models have been featured at famous runways at Austin Fashion Week, Dallas Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week and many more. Models that work for the agency are known for their elegance, poise and flair.

In 2010, Wilhelmina Austin held a launch party at the Ashton poolside in Austin, Texas. The event even brought the attention of local television news stations. They moved to Austin to service the model niche of Central Texas. The party featured runway models with a new collection of clothing by Linda Asaf. Linda claims that It was only a matter of time before the fashion scene in Austin will begin to take off.

In October 16th of this year, the Brown Agency hosted a new launch party, celebrating their new name change. Wilhemina Austin merged with the theatrical talent agency, Heyman Talent-South. Prior to the merger, they were Austin’s top theatrical talent agency. The party featured a performance by Tameca Jones, who thought that this was one of the most beautiful crowds that she has ever seen. The audience was made up of models and actors that were dressed up in some of the finest, in season attire. The acting talent of the new re-branded agency have scored jobs with shows like American Crime, Queen of the South and the Leftovers. Andre Bradford, Fermin Nava and April Gentry are some of the new talent recruited from the event.

Brown Agency hosted a big 4th of July event that took place this year. The party featured live performers and pool-side activities. The party went on overnight and all the way into the morning. Co sponsors of the event included Deep Eddy Vodka, North Shore, SkylesBayne and Still + Sea.
