Kabbalah is an ancient wisdom based on the Jewish faith, but knowledge of Judaism is not required to study Kabbalah. The main purpose of the practice is to learn and understand how all aspects of our lives are connected and to feel true happiness and fulfillment upon this realization. Kabbalah wants its practitioners to have a deeper sense of who they are and as a result, feel true, long-lasting fulfillment in their lives.
When you study Kabbalah, you learn how to connect with yourself and with the Light of the Creator. Instead of just accepting life’s ups and downs, Kabbalah will teach you to question your feelings and help you learn to feel consistently, deeply happy always. It all starts with tapping into your true potential and realizing what you can be and do. Kabbalah’s spiritual laws will teach you how to eliminate the chaos from your life and help you experience the world the way the Creator meant you to.
The U.S. Kabbalah Centre was founded in New York City by Phillip and Karen Berg. In 1984, it moved to Los Angeles, where it is still headquartered today. Currently, the Centre has over 50 branches worldwide, including major centres in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and London. It is a not-for-profit organization.

Many people have heard of Kabbalah and it’s practices but not many people actually have any understanding of what it entails or what it believes in. In the following paragraphs, we will discuss Kabbalah itself and the role the Kabbalah center plays!
Kabbalah is considered an ancient practice in which everything from the Bible is interpreted in mystical ways. Many Jewish individuals don’t believe that Kabbalah is for younger individuals; they firmly believe it is for more advanced Jewish folk. They do not believe that you need to be Jewish to practice Kabbalah but everything is done within the Hebrew language.
There are many with the belief that Kabbalah was around before any religion was born. They also say it has a role on forming much of what we know today (playing a part in the creation of the world).
A person that practices Kabbalah is also known as a Kabalaist and the term for Kabalaist comes from Hebrew and is pronounced “kooboluh” (for those that cannot read Hebrew). So, what role does the Kabbalah center have in all this?
The Kabbalah centre was formed in 1984 by Philip Berg in Los Angeles California. It is a non-profit organization and it provides courses that show teachings from the Zohar (a Jewish mini book).
Each center is in different cities where they hold classes and courses of many varieties to spread it’s beliefs and teachings. Every weekend they hold a high energy ceremony for Shabbat to bring about the “light” in the world. They believe in the power of white and positive energies. The more positive energy and light you give out, the more that comes back to you ten fold.
As you can see, Kabbalah is a very complex and maybe even complicated fourm of study to understand but they will never turn you down and they are always willing to help you spread the light. In order to understand it your best bet is to practice it!
