McGalla advise women to seek excellence that is more academic and build up their capacity and qualifications whenever they get a chance to. Education is important for professional growth and should be treated as such. Her advice to young women is not to be intimidated by high costs of higher learning but instead they should consider scholarship opportunities and build their academic excellence.
Confidence is key
Women ought to practice continued confidence if they want to excel in business. The workforce environment is not always friendly. It could easily lead women to feel less confident. Despite the study showing that confidence levels of women drop by 60% due to management influence, it is important that they continue to build a support system that keeps encouraging them and boosting their moral. Anything that interferes with their confidence should be dealt with immediately.
There are no limits
According to Susan, one of the attributes that makes her successful in business and life in general is not taking heed of the glass ceilings.
