The soon-to-be-released sequel “Deadpool 2” has been making headlines for weeks in funny ways to promote the movie. The hype has been built up using clever clips in which the Deadpool character tries to apologize to soccer player David Beckham, or hanging out with Celine Dion for the “Ashes” music video. The new film has been one of the most anticipated of 2018 along with “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” It appears that the hype may be appropriate for the follow-up to the original “Deadpool” movie too.
That’s because movie review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes has a “Certified Fresh” score for “Deadpool 2,” so far. Based on a Screenrant report, the movie had 93 reviews just days ahead of its official debut in theaters and had received an aggregate score of 84 percent out of 100. For comparison, the original film received an 83 percent score, which it still has to this date. As more movie reviewers score and grade the new film, the Rotten Tomatoes aggregate number will change in one direction or the other. So far, it seems that this film is on track for a successful outing at the box office and will be one of those rare sequels, let alone comedy sequels, that could do as well as its predecessor.
The R-rated film “Deadpool 2” will follow a new adventure involving the title character. In the original, a man named Wade Wilson became Deadpool a Marvel anti-hero with a penchant for quirky humor and violence. In the latest film, he’ll be involved with several other characters from the Marvel comic book world including Cable and members of X-Force. It will bring back Ryan Reynolds in the title role while also adding Josh Brolin in the role of Cable. That gives Brolin two box office smashes in the same month or so, as he also plays the villain Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Speaking of the latest “Avengers” film, it appears that “Deadpool 2” could be the one to potentially take over for the box office leader. However, Wade Wilson and company only have a short bit of time to do so. “Solo: A Star Wars Story” will hit theaters just a week later with a more family-friendly rating of PG-13 rating.
Deadpool 2, the all-action, joke-filled sequel to 2016’s Deadpool, has made a positive impression on critics thus far. Ahead of the film’s 18 May release date, reviewers have, generally speaking, praised the film’s story, comedy, and exciting style. Rolling Stone gave Deadpool 2 three and one half stars out of four, and IGN.com awarded the work a score of about eight out of 10. At the time of writing this piece, the aggregate critical score on Rotten Tomatoes for Deadpool 2 is almost 90%.
Deadpool 2, like the original Deadpool, stars Ryan Reynolds. (Several other cast members from the original have also returned for the sequel, including Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and T.J. Miller.) The Deadpool character initially appeared in works released by Marvel Comics, and before 2016, few fans and executives believed the foul-mouthed, ultra-violent individual had a future on the silver screen. That changed after some convincing and negotiating resulted in Deadpool releasing in all its R-rated glory; the superhero flick, despite requiring its viewers to be over the age of 17, earned nearly $800 million against a $60-million budget and was widely praised by fans and critics. Soon after Deadpool’s reviews and earnings came pouring in, plans were made to create a sequel; filming for Deadpool 2 began in June 2017.
It’s still too early to predict Deadpool 2’s overall earnings, but opening weekend ticket sales have exceeded expectations, industry analysts have indicated. Besides potentially earning more money at the box office than any other R-rated film in history, Deadpool 2 has set several records, including the widest R-rated film release (the movie is showing in 4,103 theaters) and the most ticket preorders.
Interested fans shouldn’t hesitate to check Deadpool 2 out, as professional reviewers have made clear that the film is both memorable and fun. And for the lucky UK viewers who were able to catch the movie on 10 May (simply as a result of a difference in scheduling), here’s to the beauty (and unfairness!) of early international access.

This summer promises to be a great time for movie fans. One of the highly anticipated Marvel releases that kicked off this spring, “Avengers: Infinity War”, is currently the number one box office hit as of this writing. I had the opportunity to watch the movie this past weekend. The end of the movie left many moviegoers puzzled as to the fate of the main characters. If you have not watched the movie, I would suggest you not read the rest of this article. In the Huffington Post, Bill Bradley discusses possible leaks from a few years ago that provided hints to a possible sequel. Below we will discuss the article and provide some insights to the leaks. The entire article can be read at the following link: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/avengers-4-leaks-get-support-2-year-old-interview-marvel-directors_us_5aeb3dcde4b041fd2d242a37
One blogger named ‘ilurkthingsreborn’ has claimed to have an inside source from Marvel and has successfully predicted some of the scenes from Infinity War before it’s release. Much of this blogger’s speculation of a sequel stems from Captain America and his weapon from Infinity War. One of the scenes gives clues to the possible sequel in which Captain America, Thor and Thanos are involved in a fight scene. The significance of one of Thor’s weapons called the MJolnir was supposedly destroyed in a previous Thor movie but questions were raised as to why it would have relevance in Infinity War. After the blogger asked The Russo Brothers (Captain America directors) about the significance of Thor’s Hammer and Captain America’s ability to use it (which was not part of any previous Captain America movies), they replied that it could be a ‘set up for a future sequel’. Other leaks include a possible death of Captain America which did not happen in Infinity Wars.
In my opinion, I agree with the bloggers claims and I anticipate that there will likely be a sequel due to the overwhelming popularity of Infinity War and unanswered questions that have been raised in Bill’s article. It appears we will have a few more Marvel blockbusters in the summers to come!
Fans of the original movie Zombieland will be pleased to hear that Zombieland 2 is possibly set for release in late 2019. The original film was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. These same writers also wrote both Deadpool movies. Zombieland’s original director has yet to confirm his involvement, but there’s no evidence that he wouldn’t be a part of the sequel. Some sources do say he will be involved though. However, all the original cast appears to be onboard with Zombieland 2.
Zombieland premiered in 2009 and was a huge hit with fans. It has since become a cult classic. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic zombie-infested world. The main character, (Played by Jesse Eisenberg) is alone and has a strict set of survival rules. He encounters many characters along his journey to find his parents. These include characters played by Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and even Bill Murray. It’s a wild, fun, quirky, action-packed, and gore-filled adventure! This left fans wanting more.
Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have been wanting to create a sequel since the success of the first film. On the other hand, they were tied up with writing such successful films as the Deadpool movies, the G.I. Joe sequel, and Life. This has led to a happy coincidence of the sequel possibly being released on the ten-year anniversary of the original Zombieland.
The actors have also been in high demand. Emma Stone and Jesse Eisenberg’s careers have bloomed over the last ten years. Both actors have appeared in popular feature films. Jesse Eisenberg was nominated for an Oscar for his role in 2010’s The Social Network, while Emma Stone was nominated as well for her role in La La Land. Woody Harrelson went on to star in numerous films and shows. He appeared in all four of The Hunger Games movies, as well as his most recent project called Venom. Notably, Woody Harrelson worked on Venom with Zombieland’s director Ruben Fleischer.
The plot has yet to be released, but some sites claim that the script is already completed. If it’s anything like the original Zombieland, fans are in for a wild ride. Followers can hope to see Zombieland 2 in theatres within the foreseeable future.
Christopher Nolan has been directing movies for over fifteen years. He has directed such thrillers as Inception, Interstellar, and The Dark Knight Trilogy. He is well-known for his Batman movies. Though they were released years ago, they still resonate highly with audiences. He spoke about them at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
The Batman character is different in these films than others made before them. Nolan said that while Bruce Wayne may be rich, he doesn’t have any superpowers. Other than that, he’s just a normal person. Apparently, that is exactly what drew Nolan to the character. He created Batman in a way that the character has feelings. His fear, guilt, anger, and love control most of his decisions. He responds to the actions of each villain instead of being proactive against them, (most of the time). This shifts the focus of each film.
Nolan feels the villains in The Dark Knight Trilogy became the center of attention for audiences. Each movie had interesting and complex villains that were thought-provoking and terrifying at the same time. Whether it was Henri Ducard in Batman Begins or the Joker in The Dark Knight, fans couldn’t get enough of their charisma. Even Bane struck a chord of fear in the bravest of fans during The Dark Knight Rises.
Nolan spoke further about his ideas and what inspired them. He said he never planned on doing any sequels to Batman Begins. Its villain was complex as he was Batman’s mentor and trainer. Henri Ducard was the mentor turned villain that made things personal for Batman in the first film. Nolan believes each film fits in its own category. Batman Begins was originally meant to remain a true origins story. However, the success of the film proved that fans were hungry for more. The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises followed suit.
Christopher Nolan said he felt that The Dark Knight was reminiscent of a crime drama. The Joker defined the film as a crazed lunatic let loose on the already crime-ridden city of Gotham. He evolves into a charismatic and disturbing criminal boss. However, the Joker became an idol for fans, even more so than Batman himself.
Bane became the star of the last movie. Christopher Nolan explained that The Dark Knight Rises was directed in the scope of a historical epic. Many fans will argue that the Joker is a better villain. However, Bane has his place in the Batman universe, with his military-style tale of revenge against the hero.
Nolan claims that this is the way these movies have been defined. The villains play the biggest role in defining each movie. Batman plays off them. Nolan created Batman in such a way that he became more complex as he faced each new villain. Either way, they all quickly became the main focus.
A movie adaptation of Stephen King’s Novella The “Gingerbread Girl” is now in the works. “Gingerbread Girl” is a book about a woman who takes up running to deal with past trauma. She cuts everyone else from her life and moves to her father’s summer home. There she notices something strange about her neighbor during a daily run. Is he trying to kill the women that stay at his house? The story made its first appearance in the July 2007 edition of Esquire. Then the story was later released in a story collection titled ” Just After Sunset.” Some critics compared the story to that of Kings ” Misery.”
The director of this movie Craig R Baxley also directed other King works including “Rose Red,” “Storm of the Century,” and “Kingdom Hospital.” The producer Mitchell Gain produced other King projects including “Thinner,” and “The Langoliers.”
Stephen King is no stranger to film in his first movie ” Carrie” premiered in 1976. Since then 71 of his stories have movie adaptations. There have also been at least 25 TV adaptations of his work.
Studios are gravitating to Kings material looking for adaptable scripts. There are 30 adaptations of his works currently in development from various studios. Some of the other adaptations in the works include ” Pet Cemetary,” ” The Talisman,” and ” Firestarter.” CEO Mimi Steinbauer of Radiant Films International said that King is one of the most bankable names in the current market.
Some of his works like” It,” “Gerald’s Game,” and “1902” did very well recently. ” It “broke box office records for what a horror movie could do. There are other works of his that did not do so good. The TV Show “The Mist” only lasted one season. The movie “The Gunslinger,” was a box office failure and disliked by the critics. It seems that his works can be a hit or miss on what will be a success, but its a chance that most studios are willing to take at this time.
Talk of a movie based on Marvel superhero Gambit has been going on for about four years now, and it looks like filming is scheduled to begin soon. The still-untitled project is expected to feature actor Channing Tatum playing the lead role but will need a director to guide the movie. However, filming seems to have been confirmed, as well as a tentative release date for the latest superhero flick.
A report from Screenrant indicated that the movie based on the X-Men superhero will start filming this summer with actor Channing Tatum still considered the actor playing the lead. As of right now, they are hoping to attach a director to the project soon. In addition, the planned release date for the film is the summer of 2019, which would actually come shortly after the release of Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” sequel. That movie hasn’t received an official title yet either.
The movie already had a few directors attached to it previously, but they each exited for different reasons. One of them was Rupert Wyatt who had to leave the project due to having a schedule conflict. Gore Verbinski was also going to direct, but it turned out he had “creative differences” which caused him to leave the project.
There are still rumors that “Kong: Skull Island” director Jordan Vogt-Roberts could be under consideration to direct the Gambit film. Director Ben Wheatley also dropped a recent hint that he was working on “a big Marvel film.” However, it’s unknown if he was referring to the Gambit project.
In the Marvel comics, Gambit was a mutant who was often associated with the X-Men. His powers included the ability to converting potential energy from inside an inanimate object into “pure light kinetic energy.” This could allow him to make explosives out of objects. He was also able to throw playing cards, use a hypnotic charm on others, and could perform acrobatics as well as martial arts.
The Gambit character made a big screen debut in the 2009 film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” However, Gambit was portrayed by Taylor Klitsch in that movie. Gambit hasn’t appeared in any other X-Men films yet, so it’s possible that those behind the project are looking to make sure he really makes his impact when this film finally rolls out.
Deadpool 2 is getting ready to hit the movie theaters. However, there has been word from Ryan Reynolds that there might not be a Deadpool 3. The funny thing is that this was hinted in the trailer with Deadpool talking about leaving it at 2. Given that Deadpool is going to be part of the X-Force, the studios might see it as unnecessary to make a Deadpool 3. This would be similar to Iron Man being in Avengers, a Captain America movie, Spider-Man and then a solo Iron Man movie. While Iron Man is a good character, he gets a lot of screen time in other projects. A similar thing could happen with the X-Force, especially if they make Deadpool the main focus. As a matter of fact, X-Force could be considered Deadpool 3.
Plans could change if Deadpool 2 turns out to be a success with fans and critics alike. However, it might not be as well received this time. People might find a few things wrong with the film compared to the first one. Fortunately, for those that are interested in reliving the experience of catching Deadpool in theaters, some multiplexes are running a double feature for Deadpool and Deadpool 2.
Also, given that Disney is in talks to acquire Fox, there is a chance that Deadpool is going to be brought into the MCU, most likely as is. They are not going to reboot the character. That would be unwise for them. Instead, they will just continue it off and have Deadpool wise cracking about the sudden injection in the MCU. As of right now, Deadpool is waiting to be released behind Infinity War which has turned out to be a phenomenon. One thing that can be said about Marvel is that all of the Marvel properties have found their legs. The MCU is taking a cosmic turn and is growing in other ways too. One thing that can be said about comic book movies is that they are slowly but surely starting to resemble the comic counterparts.
With ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ currently ripping a hole through the record books of box office history, it seems only fitting to look back in time at the character that got the entire MCU off to a hot start: Iron Man. Tony Stark, played to perfection by Robert Downey Jr, is inarguably the heart and soul of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The billionaire-playboy-philanthropist has turned into one of the most iconic characters in comic book history and his continued growth up to and into ‘Infinity War’ serves to reminds viewers just how powerful the character’s arc has been. For fans not looking to read spoilers about ‘Infinity War’ now is your one and only warning.
May 2nd, 2008 was the start of Tony Stark’s journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the now-legendary ‘Iron Man’ standalone film. With little more than the bare bones of a script and a slate of talented actors, including Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow, ‘Iron Man’ opened up the MCU with a bang and a flourish. Now, a decade later, Stark is at the center of the biggest comic book event of all time: the Infinity Wars featuring Thanos, the Mad Titan.
In ‘Infinity War’, Stark takes on a major role as the leader in bringing the fight to Thanos himself. Alongside Doctor Strange and Spider-Man, Stark presents himself as once more the savior of mankind — willing to put his life on the line in order to put Thanos’ away for good, echoing the events of the first ‘Avengers’ film and the attack on New York. Stark is still, at heart, much the same character as he has always been but now there is a layer of responsibility and gravitas that permeates every action he takes. No longer is he the carefree, happy-go-lucky bringer of technology and death. Every move is calculated, every word is weighed, and each action he takes is predicated on saving his home from Thanos. It’s this ability, making a flamboyant comic book character into a true hero, that has given Marvel and Tony Stark the edge over any other competitive options in the comic book world.
You have probably heard in the news in recent years all of the data breaches that have happened even with some major companies out there. They have been plentiful and rather annoying. They have caused many customers to have to check their credit card statements and more to see if they have at any point been hacked or had their information stolen by characters who only want to do them harm. This has put many companies on the defensive as well as they try to figure out ways to protect the information that their customers provide to them with the expectation that the information will be protected.
The need for better data protection is not exactly new, but it is something that is getting a bigger spotlight as of late as so many of these breaches have continued to occur. Today we take a look at one approach called multi-factor authentication (MFA).
It used to be the case that we thought that simple passwords could keep our information safe. We figured that as long as we knew the password that it would not really be possible for others to gain access to our treasured information. Only those who had been authorized to have that information would ever get access to it we thought. We could not have been more wrong about this. The reality of the situation is that we need to have multiple layers of protection if we want to get serious about protecting the information that we have been entrusted with.
Adding extra steps to a login process does create a little more work for the legitimate user of that information, but it also helps to make sure that they are not going to be the next victim of a hack. Having to take a few extra seconds to go through a second or even third layer or authentication can be well worth it when you weigh that against the risk of having your customer information hacked away from you entirely. Most people would opt to have to spend the extra time putting their information into the password system.
SMS text messages are one way in which some are establishing a means of protecting their passwords and important information. The system will only send a password reset to an approved smartphone that the owner can then use to get back into their systems. Put another way, the system can send a smartphone a temporary password that a person can use to log in in order to have the opportunity to reset their password once they are back into whatever it is that they needed to log into.
Security questions are another interesting alternative for those who might not own a smartphone or who might not have access to their e-mail. At the time that a person sets up their password they may also want to add on a few security questions in order to allow themselves to be granted access to the system. Those are questions that the individual should only be able to answer. In other words, they should be questions that only the legitimate user of the service would know the answer to. Then and only then have they stumbled upon the kind of questions that they can legitimately use for their security purposes.
OneLogin is a company that allows you to use any and all of the mentioned tactics above. They work closely with the industry trends to figure out exactly what kind of new tactics they might want to go about using in their MFA offerings. They always try to ensure that the tactics they put into their products are the latest ideas that have been invented.
Their systems have been set up to work well with every other system that is already in place. Thus, if a company wants to switch over to using this program they can do so without some of the headaches and bumps in the road that come with trying to put in a whole new program. OneLogin has worked very hard to try to help avoid that issue entirely, through the use of multifactor authentication.
Think of this as your access into a world of more corporate safety and a greater sense of peace of mind in a turbulent world. There are so many risks to your protected corporate information these days, but one of the best ways to keep it all safe is to have a MFA system in place that keeps it safe. You do not want your company in the news as the latest to be hacked into, and that means you have to work on your MFA plans right now. That is the only way that you can avoid even the chance of this happening today.
